Battle of the Bands Winners 2009 with Radio Tay, The Evening Telegraph and Rainbow Music was a pretty intense night at Gennas. Judges were deadlocked with 2 judges choosing Beautiful by Design and 2 judges choosing Modern Culture. Judges were Stuart Webster (Tay FM Breakfast), Katy Roberts (Radio Tay), Louise Smith (Radio Tay) and David Clegg (Evening Telegraph). As it was deadlock, the all important public vote made the difference and Modern Culture were run away winners.
The guys were stunned and chuffed to bits with their cool trophy, the confirmed gig at a Radio Tay event and of course £500 cash!!

The Secrets took the public vote by storm and still have a chance of reaching the Final !!
Judges very faced with another difficult decision to make in Heat 2 of Battle of The Bands; great music from all the Bands at Douglas Sports & Recreational Club which was enjoyed by a very enthusiastic audience. Winners on the night ‘The Goodnights’ with ‘Millsyeck’ taking the public vote’.
