Terror Neath The Tay

Above the trailer box is the awesome poster for our film designed by a Dundee Art College student - I've never been so slim and young looking! Funboy wasn't happy with his image in the poster as it made him look 'wet' - he doesn't understand the concept of acting does he, how do you think Hanks felt playing Forest Gump. Yes, I am comparing the two - movies and actors.
Please click on the trailer above and tell us what you think. Are you excited about the seeing the film now? Does it look better than you expected? Would you be interested being in the sequel? How fed up are you hearing about it on the radio? Can you bring any experence and/or props to the whole film making process?
Of course all the proper info and photos can be found at the official Terror Neath The Tay site which was designed and set up quickly during our shoot by a listener >>>click here>> www.terrorbeneaththetay.co.uk
On the official site you can check hundreds of photos from behind the scenes as we filmed all over Tayside throughout October and at the tail end of September 09. Also you'll see pics of when we had the premiere of Terror Neath The Tay at The Odeon Cinema in Dundee on the 7th November 2009 at midnight. What a blast as over 100 people turned up to view our precious - even if it was put together v quickly in the space of 6 weeks with the director editing the film right up until we pressed play at the Odeon that evening!!
The cast and crew were v lucky to have some fanastic days for filming in the likes of Crieff, Newport, St Andrews and Dundee.
COMING SOON - 'TERROR NEATH THE TAY' THE TWEAKED UNRUSHED VERSION ON DVD
This whole movie experience wouldn't have been possible if it wasn't for the brilliant Tay FM listeners helping out every step off the way, so big thanks go to...
Mike Ogilvie - for helping with sound, with last minute emergencies and with lunch
Kirsty McPherson - for being our make up expert every week - thanks for the goo and the minty blood!
Andy 'Hypno' Lawson - where would we be if Andy hadn't hypnotisied us into thinking we were good? Oh and thanks for a load of props and for kicking your family out of your house so we could film!
Mike and Kara at St Andrews Aquarium - thanks for being so kind and letting us film all sorts of beasties!
Ewan Todd - for keeping spirits up and for bringing his fart machine to the premiere!
Ann @ Food On The Green - for supplying lunch for a cold hungry starving cast and crew every week!
Stanford Motors, Wormit - for supplying work overalls for a scene which then got covered in goo! Sorry.
The Dundee Art College Students (who I still haven't met) - for tireless work on the animation!
I've probably missed some people, I'm good at that so please just send me an email slagging me off if I have.
Now we just have to work on the sequels - does anyone think these ideas are any good or can you come up with your own adventure featuring the team?!
IDEAS FOR SEQUELS FROM OUR DIRECTOR AND WRITER - KYLE TITTERTON
After the covered up incident involving a giant octopus, McGonnigal has been fired following a police investigation for defrosting all the freezers on the Eastern Sea Board. Radio Tay is on the brink and the Boss has been removed by the board and is now a washed-up bum. McGonnigal has become a lowly air traffic controller at Dundee “airport” where he works alongside his arch rival, Mendoza. Jimmy got married to with the weather girl while Sandy won the Pulitzer Prize for aquatic science.
But McGonnigal notices irregularities in the air, strange blips appear on his monitor, and then people start disappearing...
Giant seagulls, aliens and monster robots descend on Dundee as once again McGonnigal, Jimmy, Sandy and the Boss all battle to save a city some would say wasn’t worth saving.
And after this to complete the trilogy – the last instalment: Journey To The Centre Of The Tay! The Tay dries away to a trickle – lead local scientist Sandy Malone leads an unlikely crew of McGonnigal, Jimmy and the Boss down into the earth where they battle dinosaurs in order to save Dundee.
IF YOU THINK YOU CAN DO BETTER THEN I'D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU WITH SEQUEL IDEAS JUST EMAIL THEM TO STUART@TAYFM.CO.UK
