“Courage the Cat” is the new Cash for Kids mascot - sponsored by Jumping Joeys, Queens Drive, Arbroath.  Over 90 children turned up at Jumping Joeys to meet him before Christmas.  Courage will be appearing at lots of fundraisers in 2010 - watch out for him!

“We have thousands of children in Tay Territory who come up against all sorts of challenges, live in difficult circumstances or who don’t get the opportunities they deserve.  These are the children Cash for Kids tries to help.  We work with people in the community not just to raise funds, but to raise the profile of a charity that looks after its local kids.  It’s so important that we realise how many children need our support.

Courage will represent the children out there who fight against the odds and show strength of spirit in everything they do.  Courage will make special guest appearances at events throughout the year and give the kids of Tay Territory their very own mascot.

Jumping Joeys Children’s Activity Centre in Arbroath has kindly agreed to sponsor Courage in his first year and we are really grateful for their support.  They are in the business of providing a fun environment for children and it’s the perfect setting for Courage to make his first appearance.
