It's popularity with locals and tourists alike is down to its consistently good fish & chips. The owners have access to the freshest and best-quality seafood.

Robert and Alison Smith take pride in purchasing all their haddock from the quayside markets ensuring only prime quality haddock for your fish supper.
The fish is carefully hand-fillited at their sister company, Argofish (est. 1981) in nearby St Monans before being delivered to the Fish Bar in time for opening.
As haddock stocks in the North Sea are currently at their highest in 35 years, Anstruther Fish Bar remain passionate in the support of Scottish fishermen, whose approach to responsible fishing methods are ensuring a sustainable future for the Scottish fishing industry and it's seas.
